Background:
My name is Murray C. Oransky, M.S., P.T., and I own and operate Physical Therapy Works, P.C. (PTW).

I have been in private practice in Manhasset, NY for over 17 years.

I was a medic in the U.S.A.F. from 1963-1967. I received my B.S. and Certificate in Physical Therapy from New York University in 1972 and my M.S. in Physical Therapy from Long Island University in 1975.

I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, a member of the Private Practice and Orthopedic section, member of the New York Insititute of Technology Advisory Board for their Physical Therapy curriculum, and a member of the Arthritis Association.
Experience:
I am a N.Y.S. licensed Physical Therapist who has had extensive experience treating patients in an out-patient setting. I have attended a wide range of continuing education courses to keep me up to date with the latest developments in the field. I have developed specific protocols to treat my patients and give them the best care possible.
Personalized Service:
I believe in giving my patients quality care. All programs are individually designed to meet the specific needs of the patient, who has been assessed following a thorough evaluation.

The evaluation consists of taking a history and assessing posture, joint motion, and strength. After the evaluation a personalized treatment program is given to the patient, as well as a program to be carried out at home.

Patients are treated on a one-to-one basis and not handed off to non-medical personnel. This is not a revolving door practice.
Conditions Treated:
Orthopedics - Total joint replacements, fractures, joint separations, dislocations, post-operative treatment (Meniscectomy, Arthroscopic surgery, etc)
